In this photograph I am celebrating, having finished my nursing diploma to cries of "I'm never studying again" and "No more late nights on the laptop for me". I have to say it comes as a bigger surprise to me than anyone that I've missed those late, caffeine fueled nights and am about to embark on a second career!
Never the less here I am, beginning a writing course with ambitions of stoking up the creative furnace and becoming a published writer in the process!
I decided to write this Blog with the hopes of finding a few like minded companions to share the ups and downs with. I've already had my first high in the form of positive feedback on my first assignment. So now in the words of my tutor, "...the real work begins!".
Hello...I too have just started the Writer's Bureau comprehensive course and have just handed in assignment one!
ReplyDeleteI'm also a qualified nurse and midwife but I gave up after having the kids.
Would love to write a novel one day, so that's why I'm doing the course!
