Slow Progress!

Painfully slow progress I know but progress it is, today I have written my second assignment. I've written a short travel article about Madrid, I'm going to leave it overnight then revise it, then leave it for another few days and then revise again and submit. My only problem is a complete confidence crash and fear that I have done a terrible job. Only time will tell I suppose. I'm hoping to get started on assignment three on Sunday when I am next off work, an open assignment so I'll have to get thinking about what to write about. Fingers crossed I get some positive feedback about my Madrid article. Bye for now, H xx

P.s. The above is a photograph I took in Madrid and have included as part of my article - enjoy!

Welcome to my Blog!

In this photograph I am celebrating, having finished my nursing diploma to cries of "I'm never studying again" and "No more late nights on the laptop for me". I have to say it comes as a bigger surprise to me than anyone that I've missed those late, caffeine fueled nights and am about to embark on a second career!

Never the less here I am, beginning a writing course with ambitions of stoking up the creative furnace and becoming a published writer in the process!

I decided to write this Blog with the hopes of finding a few like minded companions to share the ups and downs with. I've already had my first high in the form of positive feedback on my first assignment. So now in the words of my tutor, "...the real work begins!".
